Do you feel like you are working by yourself though you are part of a large team? Are you often the last to know about things in the office? If you are suspecting that your colleagues are avoiding you, you are not too far off the mark. Here are a few reasons you don’t find favor with them.
You are moody
Let’s face it – if you are grumpy or sullen the whole time you are at work, you aren't really sending out positive vibes to your colleagues. In fact, showing excessive temperament and staying in your own bubble will harm your prospects for career growth since you will not be seen as a team leader.

You chase perfection
If there’s one thing that co-workers hate, it’s someone who works hard all the time. Working to the brief and on time are fine traits but if you put your hands up for every assignment and act competitively all the time, you will alienate all the other team members. While its good to be a perfectionist, expecting them of others and pushing them all the time is hardly the best way to do it.

You talk too much
Stacked against the hard workers are co-workers who think they have landed in a talkathon competition. If you see other workers at their tasks and butt into the comment about random stuff or discuss last night’s dream about meeting Lady Gaga in a LA studio then you are intruding on their space. Try to talk less and vent on Twitter about your life’s myriad ways if you must.

You lack basic manners
Co-workers who think their office is the Bigg Boss studio and act as if everything goes, take note. Your office is a sacred space that has a few undeclared rules. You cannot dress shabbily, smell like you brought a dead cat in, eat food like goop, and behave as if you own the place. In a professional environment, the least that is expected of you is a decent amount of decorum.

You are unprofessional
Perhaps the worst reason for being avoided, the co-worker who is habitually late, out of the office every other weekend, lies about things and steals stuff from others is not who you should be. At your workplace, it is appreciated if you can show your dedication to work, plan things meticulously, help your co-workers once in a while, and can maintain a cheery persona through it all.

You are cozy with your boss
This one is pretty evident. If your colleagues suspect that you’re backstabbing their secrets in favor of getting perks from the boss, then you are well on the way to getting a royal to ignore. We suggest you don’t get involved with any kind of gossip of any kind while you are at work to avoid this.
