If you're looking to make money and grow your career from the comfort of your own home, we have some good news: The number of work-from-home opportunities is on the rise.
Year
over year, there have been more organizations listing work-from-home
positions including both full-time and part-time positions, according to
FlexJobs.
What's more, many of these openings offer great benefits and cover a
variety of industries including education, nonprofit, and marketing.
"We've
definitely seen remote working increasing over the last several years,"
Brie Reynolds, FlexJobs' senior career specialist tells WomansDay.com.
"From our own data, we've found that remote job listings increased 52%
in the last two years. And that growth is happening across a wider
variety of career fields than most people realize."
Better
yet, the number of fields offering work-from-home jobs is also growing
too. "Remote work is prevalent in more obvious fields like customer
service and computer/IT, but it's also regularly offered in fields like
medical and health, education and training, sales, administrative,
nonprofit, project management, accounting and finance, marketing, and
more," says Reynolds. In other words, there's an opening out there for
everyone. Here are the top companies hiring work-from-home employees
right now (there are hundreds of jobs available!):
- UnitedHealth Group
- Conduent
- Leidos
- Dell
- K12
- CyberCoders
